The Power Systems Computation Conference or, in brief, PSCC was the outcome of the needs, interests of and almost natural steps seen by academics, power system planners and operators, as well as engineers, mostly European based, dealing with computers in the power system area. SCCER-FURIES congratulates our partner from Institute of Energy Systems and Fluid Engineering (ZHAW) for receiving the Best Paper Award at IEEE ROPEC 2018. IEEE International Autumn Meeting on Power, Electronics and Computing took place in November 2018 in Ixtapa, Mexico and attracted 250 participants and 100 submitted papers. J. Dobrowolski, and F.R. Segundo from ZHAW in Winterthur, together with partners from UNAM in Mexico City, received the best paper award for their work entitled “Inter-area Oscillation Control Based on Eigensystem Realization Approach”.
